Magi Khoo
Magi started the physical practice of yoga during high school track & field in Malaysia. While obtaining an M.A. in Education she discovered yoga in 2002 as a way of balancing school with a hectic corporate life. The more she explored, the deeper she delved into this lifelong journey of what yoga offers: a beautiful integration of mind, body and spirit.
Magi's yoga is informed by three gems: a hatha and vinyasa-based practice learned from a multitude of SF's amazing teachers; three months of intensive yoga courses in India studying with senior Iyengar teachers - the Chanchani's, Usha Devi and Br. Rudra Dev; and a decade long meditation studies that culminated in a 10-day Vipassana meditation course in Thailand. Magi is a certified 200hr Yoga Teacher. She brings a sense of lightheartedness with firm grounding in her classes, approaching life as a practice of patience, courage, joy, balance and humor.
